Which Cobra® clip to install your terrace board?

Choosing the right clip depends on the material of the blade, the design of its profile (grooved, reversible, smooth, Venetian, etc.) and its thickness.

1. Possible decking:

2. Compatible profiles:

For a clip 8-18, the 8 indicates the height in mm of the base (X) and 18 the width in mm of the clip wing (Y).

The dimensional compatibility of the 3 HYBRID clips is established according to the height (A) of the lower lip, the depth (B) and the height (C) of the blade groove in mm:

Hybrid clips offer 3 min flexibility for the required height A and thus adapt to many blade profiles. The use of the Airspacer wedge under the clip facilitates its positioning and promotes this versatility used with many decking boards available on the market.

The thickness of compatible decking boards can be between 18 and 26mm.

3. Fixing in the joist:

All CobraHYBRID clips attach equally well to joists wooden, resinous or hard, whetheraluminum, thanks to a self-drilling screw in stainless steel adapted according to the structure.

3 screw sizes available: S, M and L

⚠️ For aluminum joists, a minimum thickness of 2mm is required to ensure sufficient grip of the thread and its resistance to tearing. The drilling area of the Structural joists has a wall of 3 mm.
