Regular board spacing
To allow rainwater and other waste to drain away, it is recommended to spaced evenly the deck boards. However, the spacing between boards varies according to the type of material: wood or composite wood. These two materials do not have the same dimensional variation, so they must have their own recommendations for board spacing. Composite wood expands lengthways as a result of temperature variations, whereas wood expands widthways as a result of humidity variations. This is why several spacings are possible with DECKSPACER, depending on the face.
As you can see from the side diagram opposite, the Cobra® DECKSPACER board spacer is made up of 4 wings 3, 4, 5 and 6 millimetres wide, so you can meet all your board spacing requirements.

Time-saving installation of your boards
Quick to apply and ultra-resistant, each spacer has 4 wings (4 thicknesses: 3, 4, 5 and 6 millimetres) so you can adapt to any material or decking, quickly and easily.
What's more, each spacer is 15 mm wide. The Cobra Deck Spacer will also enable you to respect the positioning of the screws at the end of the board, which is recommended, at a minimum of 15 millimetres from the edge.
In conclusion, by using the spacer between 2 boards, you can ensure the desired spacing, and use it as a screw stop, 15 mm from the outside of each board.
